Quite a lot of enjoyable stuff to do near Sea Rim State Park, and spending time at this campground is very pleasant. Big Thicket National Preserve is a wonderful national park. Sea Rim State Park is loved by campers from Port Arthur. An afternoon playing golf at Babe Zaharias Memorial Golf Course is always a joy, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Tyrell Park Trail. Going camping for a couple of days here in Texas is something you have to do.

Lots of people stay at Sea Rim State Park for the purpose of being close to Sea Rim State Park. Sea Rim State Park sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of September you get the most rain around here while March is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Sea Rim State Park you always meet someone from Port Arthur, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Palms Golf Course at Pleasure Island.

The pleasant atmosphere and the admirably kept up facilities will make you feel perfect. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Port Arthur Reservoir; don’t leave without popping by Sea Rim State Park.
